**Shongweni Club Hosts Exciting 2026 South African Youth Championships**
Shongweni, South Africa — 31 July 2025 — The prestigious South African Showjumping Championships, proudly sponsored by Westown, is set to take place at the renowned Shongweni Club, bringing together the finest equestrians and top-tier talent from across the nation. This much-anticipated event promises thrilling competition, exceptional displays of horsemanship, and a celebration of equestrian sport.
Shongweni, South Africa — 19 November 2025 — The prestigious South African Youth Championships is set to take place at the renowned Shongweni Club from 27 June to 5 July 2026, bringing together the finest young equestrians from across the nation. This much-anticipated event promises thrilling competition, exceptional displays of horsemanship, and a celebration of all equestrian disciplines: Showjumping, Dressage, Showing, Eventing and more. The Team Events will be hotly contested with the best of each Province going up against each other.
The championships will be held from Saturday 27th June to Sunday 5th July 2026, offering a variety of classes for riders of all levels. Spectators can enjoy spectacular competitions, intense battles for victory, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie.
Organized by the Shongweni Club, on behalf of the South African Equestrian Federation (SAEF), the event aims to promote the sport, support local riders, and engage the community in celebrating equestrian excellence. It is the pinnacle of the annual Youth calendar where the top riders in the country compete for the prestigious titles.
